Algebra Fundamentals 3.0

Jacques S. Hadamard, a renowned French mathematician, conducted a study involving 100 leading mathematicians, including Albert Einstein, which revealed that the majority of these individuals relied predominantly on visual thinking in their mathematical approach. Math Galaxy Algebra Fundamentals serves as an interactive instructional resource that combines explanations, practice exercises, and educational games to comprehensively cover topics typically found in an Algebra I curriculum. These topics include rational numbers, absolute value, exponents and scientific notation, order of operations, factors and prime numbers, algebraic properties, translation of English language statements into algebraic expressions, simplifying expressions, solving one- and two-step equations—including those with parentheses, fractions, decimals, and unknowns on both sides—and exploring slopes, linear equations, word problems, systems of equations and inequalities, and polynomials.

The instructional material presents concepts in manageable segments fortified by detailed explanations and illustrative graphics. It offers an unlimited number of practice problems with randomly selected numbers to reinforce understanding. Additionally, the program integrates support for Schoolwork to enhance the learning experience.

Student engagement is incentivized through a problem-solving activity where solving exercises earns robots that can be used within a maze game called the Labyrinth.
